{"id":5415,"date":"2019-05-27T17:17:34","date_gmt":"2019-05-27T22:17:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cecap.com.pa\/demo\/?p=5415"},"modified":"2026-04-28T10:42:32","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T15:42:32","slug":"cecap-y-cecomap-realizan-foro-sobre-arbitraje-y-derecho-maritimo-en-panama","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cecap.com.pa\/en\/cecap-y-cecomap-realizan-foro-sobre-arbitraje-y-derecho-maritimo-en-panama\/","title":{"rendered":"CeCAP and CECOMAP hold forum on arbitration and maritime law in Panama"},"content":{"rendered":"<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5405 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/cecap.com.pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Evento-CECOMAP-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cecap.com.pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Evento-CECOMAP-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/cecap.com.pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Evento-CECOMAP.jpg 696w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Panama Maritime Arbitration, Mediation, and Conciliation Center (CECOMAP) and the China Maritime Arbitration Commission (CMAC), with the support of the Panama Center for Conciliation and Arbitration (CeCAP), held the Forum \u201cArbitration and Sino-Panama Maritime Law.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During the event, a Mutual Cooperation Agreement was signed between CECOMAP and CMAC to promote the use of arbitration and mediation in maritime contracts and to facilitate the exchange of services between the two institutions.<\/p>\n<p>The event, which included a seminar on this topic, was held at the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP), with the participation of prominent figures from the national and international maritime sector, including Xubo Zhang, President of Fairicc Co., Ltd.; Chanqing Xie, Deputy Secretary of the China Maritime Arbitration Commission (CMAC); and Huilin Xu, Head of Marketing at Tianan Property Insurance Co.
