The Panama Center for Conciliation and Arbitration (CeCAP) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) on October 23, 2025, to promote international arbitration as the preferred method of dispute resolution and to improve the accessibility, efficiency, and effectiveness of international arbitration.
Under the MOU, CeCAP and SIAC will jointly organize in-person, hybrid, and virtual conferences, seminars, and workshops on international arbitration.
The terms of the MOU also stipulate that CeCAP, subject to the conditions of the MOU, will assist in requesting the use of its hearing rooms located in the Panama Chamber of Commerce, Industries, and Agriculture building at preferential rates for SIAC arbitration hearings in Panama.
SIAC will also assist in arranging the use of its hearing facilities at Maxwell Chambers at preferential rates for CeCAP arbitration hearings held in Singapore.
